According to the July 2 issue of Autocar, KTM isn’t resting on their laurels, and has plans to introduce an even more powerful X-Bow at next spring’s Geneva Motor Show.

The U.K. publication states that the fettled trackday car will be based on a modified version of Audi’s 2.0-liter FSI engine, an engine that has produced as much as 261 horsepower in the S3. Of arguably greater interestis word that the X-Bow is also slated to get the option of a full-height windshield and a removable roof. That should aid greatly in making the X-Bow a more livable proposition, but it will be interesting to see how they negotiate putting a convincing-looking hat on such a minimalist roadster.

Further down the line, other models may join the X-Bow, but KTM evidently promises that a carbon-fiber monocoque will always be part of the formula...
